All oversize loads entering the City of Bonduel must conform to the requirements set by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

In general, any vehicle over 10 feet in width, 14 feet in height, and within the Class 3 weight class should obtain an oversize load permit from the Bonduel Public Works Department. Additionally, oversized loads are not permitted on Sundays or major holidays.

To ensure public safety, all oversized vehicles must yield to emergency responders and follow any directional signs provided by local authorities.

In Bonduel, escort vehicles are required when oversized loads exceed 12 feet in width, 16 feet in height, or weigh over 40 tons. This requirement applies to all routes and times of day.

The Bonduel Police Department provides escort services for a fee of $200 per hour, with a minimum of one hour required. Advance notice of at least three business days is necessary to schedule an escort vehicle.
