Permit Validity & Operating Hours
- Oversize permits are valid for three days and must be obtained before entering Oklahoma.
- Operating times are from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset, seven days a week.
- Overweight permits allow continuous travel but must be requested when applying.
Restricted Travel & Holiday Closures
- Restricted on Interstates in Cleveland and Tulsa counties during peak hours (7–9 AM and 3:30–6:30 PM, weekdays).
- No permit travel is allowed on major holidays.
Oklahoma Turnpikes & Legal Dimensions
- Loads up to 9’6” wide don’t require a Pike Pass.
- Wider loads (up to 11’6” or 13’6” on Cherokee Turnpike) require a Pike Pass reference.
- Maximum weight on turnpikes is 108,000 lbs.
