In general, any vehicle over 12 feet in width, 14 feet in height, and within the Class 3 weight category should obtain an oversize load permit from the Berkley Public Works Department.
Berkley's downtown area is particularly sensitive to large loads, so permits are required for all oversized vehicles traveling through this area.
